Ch. Muhammad Saeed Zafar is a distinguished Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan whose legal career, spanning over two decades, is distinguished by intellectual rigour, courtroom eminence, and an unwavering commitment to the rule of law. A graduate of the University of the Punjab, Lahore, where he read for his LL.B (1998–2001), he thereafter underwent rigorous professional training and apprenticeship under eminent Advocates of the Supreme Court — an apprenticeship that furnished the doctrinal grounding and forensic discipline upon which his subsequent practice has been built. Since being enrolled as an independent practitioner in 2001, Advocate Zafar has cultivated a diverse and formidable litigation practice, appearing before trial courts, the High Courts, and the Supreme Court of Pakistan, as well as before specialised forums including the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Customs Courts, Anti-Corruption Establishments, Banking Courts, and Special Tribunals. His areas of practice encompass civil law, criminal litigation, banking and financial disputes, constitutional jurisprudence, corporate and regulatory matters, public interest litigation, and family law. He has been instructed in a number of high-profile and nationally significant matters, including the Panama Papers case, proceedings arising from ECIB references, LNG-related litigation, the Ephedrine quota case, and major railway financial-scam prosecutions, among other complex white-collar and financial crime matters — engagements that have tested and affirmed his capacity for fearless advocacy, strategic acuity, and meticulous case preparation under the highest degree of public and judicial scrutiny.
